Imagine holding a lemon in your hand, feel the weight and texture of it. Now scrape your nail across the surface to release the sharp zesty oil and bring it up to your nose to inhale that sharp scent. Now imagine, cutting the lemon in half and releasing yet more juice and zesty oil. Bring it up to your mouth and sink your teeth into the flesh. Bite down hard and suck in the sharp juice.
So, whilst you were doing that imaginary exercise, what was happening in your mouth? Most probably you pulled your cheeks in at the thought of the sharp acidic lemon juice, and saliva started to flow in your mouth. This is the phenomenal power of the thoughts and words you give to your brain – it cannot tell what is real and what is not. So choose your words carefully
