Confidence is not arrogance, it is nothing more than the ability to appreciate yourself and believe you are worthy and capable of doing something. To hold yourself in high-esteem.
Sadly, many of us question this asking Am I good enough? or Who am I to deserve this? even though we may be highly qualified or experienced. We may know our subject inside out yet are terrified to stand up and talk about it in front of a group. You may take classes in public speaking, or learning to network but this knowledge does not stop you freezing when you walk into a room full of people, or stand up to talk in front of a group.
So where do these limiting thoughts come from?
Most of our limiting patterns are rooted in childhood. Whilst it is obvious that instances of abuse would cause low self-esteem, quite often the cause is far more innocuous. As an example, perhaps there was a situation at school where you spoke up in class and someone laughed at you causing you to feel embarrassed and humiliated. As a result you think I never want to experience that again and your sub-conscious mind will remember this.
The mind is very clever and will always try to move you from pain to pleasure, so, even if you do not consciously remember the incident, it will try to stop you putting yourself in a similar situation again.

So how do you uncover, and remedy these limiting beliefs?
A session of RTT will help you access these beliefs using hypnotherapy – only by looking at them can you decide if they still serve you. If they don’t then it is time to install new, more powerful, beliefs. Beliefs that you ARE enough, you DO deserve this.
